π How to Play Memory Match
Memory Match is a classic concentration card game. The board starts with all cards face-down showing a β?β. Click any card to flip it face-up and reveal its emoji. Then click a second card. If both cards show the same emoji, they stay face-up as a matched pair. If they donβt match, both flip back over after a short delay and you must try to remember their positions.
Your goal is to match all pairs in as few moves and as little time as possible. Three difficulty levels control the board size: Easy (8 pairs, 4Γ4 grid), Medium (10 pairs), and Hard (12 pairs, 4Γ6 grid). The timer starts on your first card flip. Your score is based on moves and time β fewer of both means a better leaderboard rank.
Tips & Strategies
- Mentally assign grid coordinates to each card as you flip them (e.g., βtop-left corner = dogβ).
- On your first pass through the board, flip cards methodically row by row to see all symbols once.
- Always prefer flipping a card you remember over a random one β every confirmed match saves moves.
- Donβt rush. Waiting for the unmatched cards to flip back fully ensures you donβt misclick.
- On Hard, focus on remembering the last 4β5 positions flipped β short-term memory is the key skill.
