UPSC Exam Preparation Tips
UPSC Prelims requires accuracy over speed — negative marking means wrong answers deduct 1/3 of the question’s marks. Train yourself to eliminate two wrong options first, then choose between the remaining two. Read NCERT textbooks for Polity (Laxmikanth), History (Bipan Chandra), and Geography (NCERT Class 11–12) as foundation material. Supplement with a daily newspaper to build Current Affairs depth. Consistent daily practice of 20–30 GK questions is more effective than marathon cramming sessions.
